Agnikul Cosmos

Agnikul Cosmos Private Limited is an Indian private aerospace manufacturer and commercial launch service provider headquartered at IIT Madras in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Founded on December 1, 2017 by Srinath Ravichandran and Moin S P M among others, the company is developing the small-lift Agnibaan launch vehicle, designed to place payloads of up to 100 kilograms into orbits as high as 700 kilometers. On May 30, 2024 Agnikul launched its first suborbital test vehicle, achieving what the company describes as the first flight of a single-piece 3D-printed rocket engine. Agnikul operates a private launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre and had raised about 40 million dollars in funding by October 2023.
