Solar System Belts, Clouds and Small Trans-Neptunian Bodies

Vast regions of small bodies and the distant small objects found in them, such as the Kuiper belt beyond Neptune, the Oort cloud at the far edge of the Sun's influence, the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and the contact-binary Kuiper belt object Arrokoth. An object belongs here when its cited article describes it as a belt, a cloud or a small body of the outer Solar System. It excludes planets, dwarf planets and moons, which have their own groups. Together these members show how the Solar System continues beyond the orbits of the planets, from the rocky belt near Mars out to the icy reservoirs at its distant edge, and how a single small world such as Arrokoth preserves the conditions of the early Solar System.
