The Atmospheric Reentry Demonstrator, also called the Advanced Reentry Demonstrator, was a suborbital reentry vehicle developed and operated by the European Space Agency. It was flown for experimental purposes, to validate the multiple reentry technologies built into the vehicle and its overall design, and to gain a better understanding of the physical phenomena encountered during atmospheric reentry.
