Messier 29

Star Clusters

Messier 29, also known as M29, NGC 6913 or the Cooling Tower Cluster, is a small, bright open cluster of stars in the constellation Cygnus, lying just south of the bright star Gamma Cygni. It was discovered by Charles Messier in 1764 and can be seen from Earth with binoculars.
