Messier 28

Star Clusters

Messier 28, also known as M28 or NGC 6626, is a globular cluster of stars in the constellation Sagittarius, discovered by Charles Messier in 1764, who briefly described it as a nebula containing no star, round and difficult to see through his own telescope.
