The NASA John H. Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field is a NASA center within the cities of Brook Park and Cleveland, Ohio, and is one of ten primary NASA research centers, focusing on science and technology for use in aeronautics and space. It was established in 1942 and as of 2012 employed about 1,650 civil servants and 1,850 support contractors.
