Centrifuge Accommodations Module

Space Station

The Centrifuge Accommodations Module, or CAM, was a cancelled element of the International Space Station. It was planned to house several pieces of equipment, but its most significant planned capability was a 2.5 meter centrifuge, which would have let researchers study the effects of varying levels of artificial gravity on biological specimens.
