PredaSAR

PredaSAR is a radar-imaging company founded in 2019 by Marc Bell and headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, building what it describes as the world largest and most sophisticated commercial synthetic aperture radar satellite constellation, planned to grow from an initial 48 satellites to 96. Synthetic aperture radar satellites can produce high-resolution images at any time of day and in any weather, and PredaSAR serves government and commercial customers seeking that all-weather imaging capability; the company is a subsidiary of the satellite manufacturer Terran Orbital and its board includes retired senior United States Air Force officers. PredaSAR raised 25 million dollars in seed funding in March 2020 and selected SpaceX to launch the first of its satellites later that year.
