International Launch Services, abbreviated ILS, is a joint venture founded on 10 June 1995 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, holding the exclusive worldwide commercial sales rights to Russia Angara and Proton rocket launch services. It operates as a subsidiary of the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center. Commercial Proton launches take place from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, while Angara launches fly from the Plesetsk and Vostochny cosmodromes in Russia.
