COM DEV International was a Canadian satellite technology, space sciences and telecommunications company headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, founded in 1974, with additional branches in Ottawa, the United States, the United Kingdom, China and India. The company developed and manufactured specialized satellite systems including microwave systems, switches, optical systems and satellite antennas, along with custom equipment for commercial, military and civilian customers and contract research in space sciences. Honeywell acquired COM DEV International on February 4, 2016, and its operations continue today as part of Honeywell Aerospace.
