The Ecuadorian Civilian Space Agency, known as EXA, is a private Ecuadorian organization founded in 2007 that conducts research on space and planetary sciences, operating as a non-profit non-governmental organization with civilian oversight. It has conducted microgravity experiments via parabolic flight with the Ecuadorian Air Force, launched Ecuador first satellite, NEE-01 Pegaso, in April 2013 aboard a Chinese Long March 2D rocket, and launched a second satellite, NEE-02 Krysaor, from Russia in November 2013.
