Starchaser Industries is a privately owned space tourism company based in the United Kingdom, formed in 1992, that has designed and built several prototype rocket systems for space tourism vehicles. Its rocket Nova 1 launched in 2001 from Morecambe Bay and holds the UK record for the biggest successful rocket launch fired from the British mainland. Starchaser also operates an educational outreach programme explaining the physics and chemistry behind rocket building.
