Ovzon

Ovzon is a Swedish satellite broadband company headquartered in Stockholm, founded in 2006 to provide mobile satellite communications and a service it calls SATCOM as a Service, combining high data speeds with the ability to serve users on the move. The company is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Mid Cap exchange and maintains additional offices in Herndon, Virginia and Tampa, Florida in the United States. Ovzon developed and launched its own geostationary satellite, Ovzon 3, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in January 2024, and the spacecraft, fitted with roll out solar arrays making it the first commercial geostationary satellite to use that technology, began commercial service in July 2024.
