SENER Aeroespacial

SENER Aeroespacial is the aerospace and space engineering business of the Spanish engineering group Sener, which was established in 1956 as the first engineering company registered in Spain and entered the space sector in 1966 with a contract to design and build a rocket launch tower in Kiruna, Sweden. The company designs electromechanical components and systems, antennas, navigation systems and astronomy and optics instruments for space missions, and it serves as prime contractor for the European Space Agency Proba-3 formation flying demonstration mission, the first ESA mission to date led by a Spanish company as the main contractor of the entire program.
