LIDAX

LIDAX is a Spanish space technology company established in 2000 and headquartered in Paracuellos de Jarama near Madrid that specializes in advanced mechanical equipment for complex space systems. It manufactures components used on Earth observation missions such as EarthCARE and Meteosat, planetary exploration missions including ExoMars, and astrophysics projects such as the James Webb Space Telescope and BepiColombo. The company operates a specialized testing facility called SMARTLAB that evaluates space mechanisms under vacuum, cryogenic and high temperature conditions, and it has been part of the SUMA Aerospace consortium since 2014.
