Tekever

Tekever is a Portuguese aerospace, defence and security technologies company based in the Lisbon region, with further offices in the United Kingdom, the United States and France. It was founded in 2001 by graduates of the Instituto Superior Tecnico engineering school and today employs about 1,200 people building unmanned aerial systems, including the AR3, AR4 and AR5 drones used for maritime surveillance and reconnaissance by navies, air forces and coast guards. Alongside its drone business the company develops inter-satellite communication links and is leading a consortium building Infante, the first satellite designed and built in Portugal, planned as the precursor to a twelve satellite low Earth orbit constellation for remote sensing and telecommunications.
