Space Generation Advisory Council

The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is a non-governmental organization and professional network founded in July 1999 in Vienna, Austria, where it remains headquartered, that conveys the perspectives of students and young space professionals to the United Nations, national space agencies, industry and academia. It has grown to more than 27,000 members across over 165 countries and holds Permanent Observer status with the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space as well as consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council, operating in support of the UN Program on Space Applications to mobilize youth input into international space policy.
