Atmos Space Cargo

Atmos Space Cargo is a German private aerospace company developing reusable space logistics and cargo return technology for low Earth orbit missions, centered on its Phoenix re entry capsule, which is designed to return scientific experiments and commercial payloads from space using an inflatable heat shield system. The company conducted the first orbital test flight of its Phoenix 1 capsule in April 2025 aboard a SpaceX Bandwagon-3 mission, and in 2026 it completed an early stage design study for a larger reusable Phoenix 3 spacecraft in collaboration with the European Space Agency.
