OKAPI:Orbits is a Braunschweig based company founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Braunschweig that builds software for space situational awareness and satellite collision avoidance. Its cloud based platforms cover the full satellite mission lifecycle, from pre-launch simulation and regulatory compliance checks through collision avoidance and active space traffic coordination, and its systems are used by operators including SpaceX and Amazon. In April 2025 the company raised 13 million euros in seed funding led by the investor Ventech.
