Antwerp Space is a Belgian space company headquartered in Hoboken, Antwerp, with roots reaching back to 1962 when it began as a division within the Alcatel Bell group; the German aerospace group OHB SE acquired the company in July 2010 and gave it its current name. Antwerp Space specializes in satellite communication, navigation and radar solutions along with instruments for scientific and exploration missions, and it operates as part of OHB SE, a European space and technology group employing more than 3,000 people.
