The Arab Satellite Communications Organization, known as Arabsat, is a communications satellite operator in the Arab world, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was created to deliver satellite-based public and private telecommunications services to the Arab states in accordance with international standards, and its 21 member countries make it a major contributor to communications across the Arab world.
