The National Aerospace Technology Administration, known as NATA, is the official space agency of North Korea, founded on 1 April 2013 as successor to the Korean Committee of Space Technology. It was known as the National Aerospace Development Administration until it took its current name in September 2023. NATA operates under the 2014 Law on Space Development and is headquartered in Pyongyang; its primary spaceport is the Sohae Satellite Launching Station.
