OrbitX

OrbitX, formally Orbital Exploration Technologies and originally styled OrbX, was a Philippine aerospace company headquartered in Quezon City, established on June 2, 2019 by a group of young founders including chief executive Dexter Bano Jr, described as the Philippines' first commercial spaceflight company. The company researched alternative rocket fuels, including algae based biofuel and plastic derived RP-2 fuel, for its planned Haribon SLS-1 launch vehicle, intended to carry two hundred kilograms to low Earth orbit. The Haribon SLS-1's planned 2023 to 2024 maiden launch never took place, and the company became defunct, with its website going dark in late 2023.
