The ISRO Inertial Systems Unit, known as IISU, is a research and development unit of the Indian Space Research Organisation located in Vattiyoorkavu, Thiruvananthapuram, founded 15 August 1969, that specializes in inertial sensors and systems for satellite technology. It works across launch vehicle inertial systems, spacecraft inertial systems, sensor evaluation and simulation, production, electronic manufacturing, quality assurance and advanced inertial systems development, operating under the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre as part of the Department of Space of India.
