GalaxEye is a Bengaluru based space technology company founded in 2021 by five alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, including chief executive Suyash Singh and chief technology officer Denil Chawda. The company built Mission Drishti, which it describes as the world first OptoSAR satellite, integrating electro-optical and synthetic aperture radar sensors on a single platform, launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on May 3, 2026 as the largest satellite yet built by India private sector at 190 kilograms. GalaxEye aims to grow Mission Drishti into a constellation of ten satellites by 2030 to build a sovereign Earth observation capability for India.
