The Senegalese Space Study Agency, ASES, is Senegal's national space program, inaugurated on 23 March 2023 by President Macky Sall. It is directed by Maram Kaire, who had previously led three missions for NASA, and the agency is an active member of the GMES and Africa initiative, with partnerships including the Turkish Space Agency, the European Space Agency, and China's International Lunar Research Station project.
