MTG-I2

Satellite

MTG-I2, also known as Meteosat-14, is a European geostationary weather satellite, part of the Meteosat Third Generation system developed by EUMETSAT together with the European Space Agency. It is the second of four imaging satellites in the MTG system and, positioned at 9.5 degrees east, is designed to provide high resolution imagery over Europe roughly every two and a half minutes.
