K2 Space

K2 Space is an American satellite manufacturer based in Torrance, California, founded in 2022, that designs and builds large satellite buses the company calls Mega Class satellites, intended to deliver more power, payload capacity and propulsion at lower cost and faster turnaround than traditional aerospace manufacturers. Its first mega class satellite, Gravitas, a two ton, 20 kilowatt spacecraft carrying payload modules for multiple customers including the Department of Defense, launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in 2026. The company has raised 500 million dollars in funding at a reported valuation of 6.8 billion dollars.
