Blue Canyon Technologies is an American small satellite manufacturer headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, founded in 2008, that builds turnkey small satellite buses and components including CubeSats and microsatellites. Its XACT guidance, navigation and control system first flew in 2015 aboard the University of Colorado Boulder MinXSS satellite, and the company later provided the attitude control systems for the first interplanetary CubeSats, which traveled to Mars. Raytheon Technologies completed its acquisition of Blue Canyon Technologies on December 22, 2020, and the company continues to operate under its own name and brand from expanded Boulder and Lafayette, Colorado manufacturing facilities.
