This dimension marks whether a mission actually succeeded, partly succeeded or failed. Wikipedia notes that spacecraft "are designed to deorbit themselves" at the end of a successful mission, while "used upper stages or failed spacecraft" often do not, a distinction that begins with how the mission itself concluded. Browsing by outcome separates missions that met their goals from those that did not.
