Lunar Lander

Surveyor 4 was the fourth lunar lander in the American uncrewed Surveyor program sent to explore the surface of the Moon. The spacecraft crashed after an otherwise flawless mission when telemetry contact was lost about 2.5 minutes before its planned touchdown at Sinus Medii.
