Starship HLS

Lunar Lander

Starship HLS is a lunar lander variant of SpaceX's Starship spacecraft, designed to carry astronauts from lunar orbit down to the surface of the Moon and back again. It is being designed and built by SpaceX under a Human Landing System contract with NASA, and is intended to serve as a critical element of NASA's Artemis program to land a crew of astronauts on the Moon.
