Millennium Space Systems

Millennium Space Systems is an American small satellite manufacturer founded in 2001 and headquartered in El Segundo, California, with additional facilities in Chantilly, Virginia and Colorado Springs, Colorado. The company built a reputation on delivering high performance small satellites, ranging from about fifty kilograms to more than six thousand kilograms, on unusually fast timelines for government and commercial customers. Boeing announced an agreement to acquire Millennium Space Systems in 2018 and completed the purchase that September, and the company has since operated as a wholly owned Boeing subsidiary under Boeing Phantom Works while keeping an independent operating model, later joining Boeing to develop a new mid sized satellite platform named Resolute intended to sit between the small satellites Millennium already built and the larger satellite programs Boeing runs directly.
