JSC Information Satellite Systems Reshetnev, often called ISS Reshetnev, is a Russian satellite manufacturing company founded in 1959 by engineer Mikhail Reshetnev as the eastern branch of the design bureau OKB-1, headquartered in Zheleznogorsk, a closed city in Krasnoyarsk Krai formerly known as Krasnoyarsk-26. Now organized under Roscosmos, the company designs and builds communications, television broadcasting, navigation and geodetic satellites, and its history includes development work on the GLONASS satellite navigation system and production of the Ekspress series of communications satellites. Over its history the company reports having designed 27 different space systems and produced more than a thousand individual satellites.
