Pioneer Rocketplane was an American aerospace design and development company, based in Solvang, California, intent on developing affordable crewed space flight. It became known for promoting a horizontal-takeoff concept using turbojet and rocket propulsion called the Pathfinder, and though the company still technically exists it ceased active operations and transferred its intellectual property to Rocketplane Limited, Inc.
