Nora Al Matrooshi is an Emirati astronaut selected as part of the second batch of the UAE Astronaut Programme. In 2024 she graduated from NASA astronaut candidate training and received her astronaut pin, becoming a fully qualified astronaut and the first Emirati and Arab woman to hold that status.
