Starlab Space LLC is a commercial space station joint venture formed on January 9, 2024 by Voyager Technologies and Airbus, later joined by Mitsubishi Corporation, Space Applications Services, Palantir and MDA, to design, build and operate the Starlab space station intended to succeed the International Space Station in low Earth orbit. The venture grew out of a 160 million dollar NASA Space Act Agreement awarded to Voyager via Nanoracks in December 2021 under NASA own Commercial Low Earth Orbit Development Program, and Starlab is intended to provide a continuously crewed, free flying platform for microgravity research and manufacturing.
