All Irregular Galaxies

Galaxies whose own Wikipedia articles cite a NED classification showing no regular disc or ellipsoidal structure at all: the Magellanic-type barred irregulars, coded SB(s)m or IBm, named for the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds that define the type, and the amorphous irregulars, coded I0, such as the starburst galaxy Messier 82. The Hubble sequence sets this class apart from the ordered spiral, lenticular and elliptical classes precisely because its members show no such regular symmetry in the light distribution their own source articles describe.
