By Decade

This dimension groups astronauts by the year they were selected into their agency's astronaut corps, which is often years before their first flight. Wikipedia notes that astronaut training and selection has historically been run "exclusively by governments, either by the military or by civilian space agencies." Browsing by selection year lets a visitor compare astronauts chosen in the same intake.
