Venus Aerospace is an American aerospace company headquartered in Houston, Texas, founded in June 2020 by chief executive Sassie Duggleby and her husband Andrew Duggleby. The company develops hypersonic propulsion systems built around rotating detonation rocket engine technology, aiming to combine supersonic combustion with an improved thrust to weight ratio and a more compact engine design for aerospace, defense and aviation applications, and it has stated a long term goal of a hypersonic passenger aircraft intended to carry twelve passengers at speeds up to Mach 9.
